Editor & Publisher EPpy™ Awards Entry Deadline

NEW YORK--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--The entry period for the 15th Annual EPpy™ Awards, honoring
the best media-affiliated Web sites, has been extended to midnight Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Entries are
accepted online at the EPpy™ Awards Web site, www.eppyawards.com.
Awards will be given in 36 categories, including a new competition for Best Social Networking Implementation on a
Media-Affiliated Web site.
“With all of the interest in social networking technology, we thought it was only right to add a new category this year
to address it,” said Charles McKeown, Publisher of Editor & Publisher magazine, which sponsors the annual
program.
The EPpy™ Awards will be presented at an awards luncheon at the Interactive Media Conference and Trade Show
at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Thursday, June 17, 2010. Finalists will be announced in May.

EPpys™ will be given to both large (more than one million unique monthly users) and small (fewer than one million
unique monthly users) media-affiliated Web sites in the following categories:

l Best News Web Site
l Best Sports Web Site
l Best Business Web Site
l Best Entertainment Web Site
l Best Special Feature in a Web Site – News or Event
l Best Special Feature in a Web Site -- Enterprise
l Best Community Web Site
l Best Overall Design of a Web Site
l Best Use of Video in a Web Site
l Best Classified Web site
In addition, the EPpy™ Awards will continue its tradition of honoring the best Web site sponsored by a College
Newspaper.
Contest fees are $150 per entry except in the College category, where each entry is $50.
