Instructor‐led online courses from the American Institute of Banking provide
flexible education options to help bankers achieve their career goals
SALEM, OR, February 13, 2009 – The Oregon Bankers Association (OBA) recently
published its American Institute of Banking (AIB) online schedule of courses for February
through August of 2009. AIB instructor‐led online courses offer a flexible enrollment
schedule, “up‐to‐the‐minute” training information, and professional banking instruction,
making it one of the most effective ways to enhance banking knowledge.
Info on the over 30 individual courses on topics ranging from banking basics, to
lending, retail banking, accounting, trust, bank management, marketing, sales and more,
can be found online by visiting www.oregonbankers.com/AIB_Online. For added
convenience, registration for each course is also available online.
The flexibility of online courses allows students to set their own schedule each
week, with no need to be online at a certain date or time. Each course is facilitated by
an instructor who provides feedback on assignments and is available to answer
questions. Peer interaction and discussion are an integral part of the class and help to
maximize the learning experience.
