Templar United Nations Registration (Permanent)

Jan 14, 2019 | Publisher: Knights Templar Order | Category: Civic & Government |  | Collection: Governmental Relations

The Order of the Temple of Solomon Foundation is officially registered in the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (ECOSOC) Civil Society Organizations (CSO) Database (since January 2015), Registration No. 646065 as an “Inter-Governmental Organization” (IGO), with the declared sanctioned activity of “UN Reform”, as a UN watchdog for human rights.

Although the Templar Foundation is a sovereign subject of international law with inherent inter-governmental authorities in its own right, and does not require any recognition by the UN to exercise its own independent diplomatic status, it maintains this UN registration only to support the original founding principles of the UN through participation as a Civil Society Organization (CSO).
