BC3 Announces 2009 Distinguished Alumni
Awardees will be recognized at the Oak Hills Legacy Dinner
10.02.2009 – (Butler, PA) Butler County Community College's Alumni Association
has selected the 2009 Distinguished Alumni Award recipients. The award
recognizes former BC3 students who make outstanding contributions in their
professions and communities.
The 2009 recipients are Dr. Kathleen M. Brown, Dr. Daniel R. Black, Jr., DO and
Attorney Joseph E. Kubit.
Dr. Kathleen M. Brown (’83) is the Director of the Donald D. Wolff, Jr. Center for
Quality Improvement and Innovation of UPMC.
Dr. Daniel R. Black, Jr., DO (’78) is the Medical Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation
Unit at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.
Attorney Joseph E. Kubit (‘84) is a partner in the Montgomery, Crissman,
Montgomery, Kubit & Petrancosta Legal Firm in Butler.
The 2009 BC3 Distinguished Alumni will be recognized at the Oak Hills Legacy
Dinner on Saturday, October 17 in Founders Hall on BC3 main campus. Hors
d’oeuvres will begin at 6:00 p.m. Dinner and the ceremony will follow.
Dinner reservations are $20.00 per person and must be made by Friday, October 9.
