Unapproved Minutes: to be approved at the 2008 Annual Meeting
President Jim Cottos called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.
Mr. Cottos welcomed everyone and introduced Treasurer, Linda Mosholder and Secretary,
Mr. Cottos began the meeting with Old Business:
1) The incorporation papers of the Association had been allowed to lapse but they have
been filled out and filed with the state without a problem.
2) A discussion of recent complaints and resolutions was held. Mr. Cottos stated that letters
will be sent to those in violation of the restrictive covenants and/or by-laws of the
Association and follow up will be done as necessary.
3) Mr. Cottos also reiterated the importance of the covenants and their importance to the
community and that enforcement is truly the responsibility of every homeowner. A
lengthy discussion ensued regarding multiple families living in a single family
community, parking on streets and in yards, recreational vehicles, campers, and trailers
among other concerns. A violations report will be posted on the web site for people to
use to report violations they see and for the BOD to track action taken and needed.
Current covenant issues the BOD is addressing include:
a. Street lights: a survey is being done and a report will be sent to Allegheny Power.
If anyone knows of a malfunctioning street light, please contact a board member.
b. Dog droppings: it is requested that dog owners be courteous and clean up after
their dog and that the leash law of Frederick County be followed. Dogs running
loose should be reported to the Frederick County Animal Control Officer at 662-
c. Recreational vehicles/campers on properties in Senseny Glen are a clear violation
and letters will be sent to those in breach. Mr. Cottos stated in response to a
question that there is obviously sometimes a need for a camper or RV to be on a
property for a day or two; people are requested
