ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS'
The 2-wire loop handset(s) shall be Alpha
Communications®/Elvox™ 1902 or 7120, or
approved equal. At each remote location, contractor
shall furnish and install one (1) model (1902 or 7120)
handset. Each handset shall include its own electric
door release pushbutton and internal coding/decoding
circuitry. Handset(s) shall be White/Black color and
shall mount right to wall or standard single gang
electrical "gem" box. Wiring to handset shall be 2-
common wires (looped) per handset. No selective
wiring shall be required.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical
and building codes.

1902 and 7120
2-Wire Loop Handsets
The Alpha Communications®/Elvox™ 1902 and 7120
handsets are part of an Electronic Audio Door Entry
System that can be used in Luxury Apartment
Buildings, Assisted Living Facilities, Dormitories, Health
Care Facilities, Hotels, Motels, Schools, Offices and
more. The 955 and 7120 series are advanced
handsets, using only 2-common wires for systems up
to 250 apartments. Up to two (2) entry panels can be
connected in parallel, without the need for any switching
Choose from the 1902 styling or 7120 styling to suit
your building's esthetic requirements. You can even
mix the 1902 and 7120 series handsets in each system.
