Located in northwest lower Michigan, TBAISD serves 16 local school districts, four
Public School Academies and 14 private and parochial school programs in Antrim,
Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau counties, a geographic area of 2,238
TBAISD is Michigan’s largest ISD in terms of counties and fifth largest in number of
local districts. It provides specialized services, materials and personnel to approximately
27,000 students and 2,400 educators.
