Simple Guide - Epson ET 4500 Setup
Epson ET 4500 is a wireless All-in-One printer that offers cartridge-free printing. It uses easy-to-
fill super-sized ink tanks for printing. You can get high-yield and good quality prints. To know
how to perform Epson ET 4500 setup for the first time, follow the step-by-step instructions.
Unpack Your Epson Printer
Take out all the essential contents inside the printer box.
Clear the packing materials from the outside and inside of the printer.
Fill The Ink Tanks
Raise the printer’s ink tank unit cover. Open the cyan ink tank cap.
Remove the cyan ink bottle from the package. Open the cyan ink bottle cap and pour its
ink into the cyan ink tank. Make sure to close the cyan ink tank cap properly.
Perform the previous step again to fill the magenta, yellow, and black ink tanks.
Lower the ink tank unit cover.
Turn On Your Epson Printer
It's a intial steps to perform Epson ET 4500 setup. Connect a power cord’s one end to the
Epson printer’s rear port.
Plug the power cord’s other end into an electrical outlet.
On the control panel, press the Power button to turn on the printer.
Set your language, country, date, and time.
To charge the ink, press the Start button. Wait until the Power LED stops blinking. This
indicates that the ink charging is completed.
Note: Usually, ink charging takes up to 20 minutes to finish.
Flip the feeder guard forward, lift the paper support, and move it backward.
Move the edge guide to the left and place some paper in the paper feed slot.
Adjust the edge guide against the loaded paper. Flip the feeder guard back.
Draw out the output tray and open the paper stopper.
Specify your paper settings.
Connect The Phone Cord
To use the Epson printer for faxing, connect a phone between the printer’s LINE port and
a telephone wall jack.
Press the up arrow button to proceed with the fax setup. If you do not want to set up a
fax, press the down arrow button on the control panel.
