After an inspection is completed, the in-
spector will provide the property owner or
agent with a written report of all violations
observed. Noted violations must be cor-
rected. The owner or agent must contact
Neighborhood Services if a re-inspection
is required. The property owner is given
an allotted amount of time from the initial
inspection to make all necessary correc-
tions. Failure to make all the necessary
corrections by the scheduled re-inspection
date may result in additional fees and/or
Once the Village Inspector has verified
that all the necessary corrections have
been completed and all licensure require-
ments have been met, the license will be
issued. The license is valid for one year.
Prior to expiration of a license, Neighbor-
hood Services will notify the property
owner that it is time to renew their license.
The licensing process then begins again.

assist in ensuring that the living conditions
for all village residents meet the minimum
requirements set forth in the Village of
Palatine Code of Ordinances.
