E Golf Course Management Specialization
This program is designed to prepare the next generation of golf course superintendents and managers. The unique curriculum combines courses
in business, communications, hospitality and turf management, along with two internships. Graduates are employed by golf courses and golf
clubs all over the U.S. and world, as well as in industries allied to golf.
E Sports Turf Operations Management Specialization
This option prepares students for rewarding careers with professional sports organizations, school districts, colleges and university grounds
departments, and municipal park and recreation departments. Coursework in business, communications, hospitality management and sports turf
management, along with two internships, provides graduates the background to manage the total sports facility operation.
E This degree requires a minimum of 130 credit hours.
E A maximum of half of the 130 total credits required for this degree may be transferred to K-State from a community college.
E All K-State students are required to complete 18 hours of university general education courses. Students transferring with no college credit before
fall 1997 are required to complete a minimum number of university general education credit hours at K-State. The minimum number of university
general education credit hours required is based upon total number of completed transfer credit hours accepted at K-State.
