Approval of Minutes
Meeting of January 18, 2005
Ms. Bettmann stated page 8, paragraph 12, should indicate Riverview Gardens rather
than Riverside Drive.
Ms. Bettmann MOVED, Mr. Bailey SECONDED approval of the January 18, 2005, meeting
minutes as corrected. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
Mr. Murdock reviewed the minutes from the previous meeting, inquiring as to the
status of assisting the Visual Arts Center (VAC) with renovating their landscape.
Mr. Bob Crispin replied he was a member of the VAC Building and Grounds Committee,
announcing the VAC would hold several fund raisers for renovating their building. He
explained nine trees would be removed from the area intended for the pond, noting
same would be planted on Maud Street and Olympia Avenue.
Mr. Murdock inquired if the trees would be replaced when the pond was constructed.
Mr. Crispin replied affirmatively, stating the budget for planting was approximately

Mr. Dryburgh replied same was included in his member project, which had been sent
out to bid.
Mr. Murdock reported he had not discussed advertising the 50/50 program with Mr.
Crispin, confirming it was agreeable to members to include an insert with the utility

Mr. Bailey pointed out comments could be included in a special area at the bottom of
Mr. Dryburgh inquired if the newsletter published by the City would be reinstated.
