Cogon positioned to capture growing health information exchange market

structure, vision, and mission in order to capitalize on 1) its long-standing investment in web-based health
information exchange utilizing a cutting-edge service-oriented architectural approach; and 2) its recent strategic
merger with Omada Technology Solutions with its deep experience in healthcare information exchange
governance and technical architecture.
In order to position Cogon to capture the sizable and growing opportunity in health information exchange as a
result of the HITECH Act, Cogon recently merged with Omada Technology Solutions and added its two leading
principals, Ken Dougherty and Sandy Phillips, to its senior management. Dr. Huy Nguyen, Cogon’s CEO, stated,

Informatics and Health IT, has come on board as Vice President of Business Development. Sandy Phillips,
involved in computer consulting and computer operations, mostly in healthcare settings, comes on board as Vice
President of Program Management. Mr. Phillips has worked for consulting firms; Computer Sciences
Corporation (CSC), KPMG Consulting, and Accenture; for Jackson Health System in Miami, FL as CIO, and as a
Health Information Exchange (HIE) expert for Perot Systems Corporation.
