CeBIT is one of the world’s leading technology events with over 230,000 visitors from more than
120 countries, including 4,500 journalists. In 2014, the UK will take centre stage as CeBIT’s official
partner country – the focus on the UK’s capability, expertise and ability to deliver will offer UK
companies a unique opportunity at this year’s event. As country partner, the UK will have an
unprecedented level of exposure and access to services and opportunities to maximise business
potential. Recognising this unique opportunity UK Trade & Investment, the ICT KTN and techUK
are partnering to deliver a comprehensive business and technology programme leading up to and
during CeBIT 2014 in Hannover.
Research & Innovation zone, Hall 9. Free POD spaces available for UK exemplars
We are pleased to announce our latest programme to engage UK Research and Innovation
exemplars to showcase UK technology and innovation at CeBIT. The programme is based on the
main themes linked to CeBIT: Big Data, Mobile, Social, Cloud and Smart Cities. Robotics and
Autonomous Systems for industrial applications is also in scope. The successful applicants will
receive a free space in the Research and Innovation zone and CeBIT exhibition passes. In
addition to the free space, assistance will be provided for travel and accommodation and may
include opportunities to present in the British Business Lounge seminars series.
