Many persons participated in the various
activities of the 1997 Economic Census for
the Construction sector. The Economic
Census Staff of the Economic Planning and
Coordination Division did the overall plan-
ning and reviewof the census operations.
Manufacturing and Construction Division
prepared this report. Judy M. Dodds,
Assistant Chief for Census and Related
Programs, was responsible for the overall
planning, management, and coordination.
Patricia L. Horning, Chief, Construction
and Minerals Branch, assisted by

performed the planning and implementa-
