DRILLING DETERGENT LIQUID
Physical properties and bioassay information are available on request.
For MSDS see www.di-corp.com
Description Drilling Detergent is an anionic, surface wetting agent
(surfactant) for use in fresh- and salt-water low-solids
Drilling Detergent is used in most drilling industries.
Drilling Detergent reduces the surface tension of water-
based mud systems and the sticking tendency of water-
sensitive cuttings. Drilling Detergent reduces bit-
balling, mud rings, friction, and torque, and increases
penetration rate. Drilling Detergent also promotes the
settling of sand and reduces pump pressure.
Use a concentration of 2.0-4.0 quarts/100 gal of Drilling
Drilling Detergent can be used alone or in conjunction with most mud additives.
Drilling Detergent will freeze in temperatures below 0°C.
Drilling Detergent mixes easily and is generally mixed in the suction tank. Slug
Drilling Detergent directly down the drill pipe as required. Avoid excessive
agitation to avoid foaming of the mud system.
