DigiTrak RF Temperature Transmitter
Calibration Procedure (DT02 + DTP1)
o DigiTraks’, Digitron certified, precision 4-point temperature calibration
reference source. (-20°C, 0°C, 10°C & 25°C)
o UKAS certified Digitron model 2146T7 + H0000LS Probe for ambient
calibration check of external DTP sensors.
The DTCHECK Kit allows you to check the calibration accuracy of the DigiTrak RF
Temperature Transmitter and Sensor, fitted to the external channel.
These checks can be performed with the Transmitter/sensor in situ.
A 4-point calibration can be performed on the DT02 Transmitter using the DigiTrak
A single point ambient check of the external sensor/Transmitter is performed using
the UKAS certified 2146T7 and probe.
1. In situ or by removal to a stable environment
1) If the Transmitter is fitted inside a
protective enclosure, unscrew the four
lid retaining screws and remove the lid.
Then unclip the Transmitter from its
mounting bracket using a small flat
bladed screw driver and lift out.
At this point the transmitter can be
removed to a stable environment to perform the calibration.
Ensure that the Transmitter is clearly identifiable so that it can be
returned to its original location.
2) Remove theTransmitter case cover.
3) Lift out the battery.(Recommended)
4) Loosen off the 2 screws in the
terminal block that secure the
external temperature sensor and
pull out the sensor wires.

It is recommended at this point,
that the tip of the sensor you have
just disconnected is pushed into the metal sleeve of the 2146T7
reference probe and allowed to stabilise at the same temperature.
5) Connect the bare wires from the DigiTrak checker box to the Transmitter
terminal block and secure by tightening the screws. Note there is no
