Blinds Chalet Introduces New Window Blinds Color Matching System
Blinds Chalet’s latest technology matches color systems to available blinds.
(Vocus) April 15, 2010 -- Blinds Chalet’s new color matching system sets them apart from competitors. The
unique system allows customers to select a color, then directs clients to available blinds in that color. Results are
grouped by most popular choices and pricing. Colors vary by product and include black, blue, brown, green, grey,
red, yellow, white, tan, red and purple.
Black variations include wood, bamboo, aluminum blinds and double and single cell fabric blinds. While white
and lighter color blinds offer light blocking properties, black shades provide insulation for colder rooms. Black
window treatments offer light absorbing qualities. Black blinds are often found in home theatre rooms or houses
with a contemporary design.
White blinds reflect light, keeping south facing rooms cooler during summer months. Blinds Chalet offers a wide
selection of white window treatments. White window treatments include solar screen shades, wood blinds and
single and double cell shades.
Yellow window shades soothe and add warmth to rooms in a range of boldness from honey to pale buttercup.
Blues cool a room down and are great for nautical themed variations. Greens bring a natural element, mimicking
the outdoors. These colors are best used to blend with painted rooms, or can act as a focal point for a room that is
primarily white or beige.
Reds and purples stimulate excitement and work well with contemporary rooms. Grey suits office buildings or
rooms that have a steel component.
“We set up the color matching system so our customers who have color preferences can see what’s available in
one easy to research place,” says Chris Stanley of Blinds Chalet. “The system also works well for designers who
have been given a color scheme and need to see what materials will match with their furniture selections.”
