Be it airline biggie Boeing or home-grown Tata Consultancy
Services (TCS), the concern is the same. Downsizing may
have prevented bottomlines from getting obliterated, but it still
needs quick and effective decision making to get business
moving in the desirable direction. "Naturally, the buzzword today is
collaboration," said Amrit K. Das, chairman and chief executive officer
of Nasdaq listed netGuru Inc, a company which has its headquarters in
California. Web-based collaboration, with special emphasis on
document centric reviewing and meeting, is catching up fast with
corporates round the globe.
In the midst of all this action is netGuru, which has created a software -
called eReview - compatible with all operating platforms. This,
according to Mr Das, is a seamless Web-based technology for
real-time e-collaboration and document management. The software
has been designed by Research Engineers International, which is a
division of netGuru Inc, USA.
This software, which can be installed at points which form a part of the
collaborative effort of any organisation, has the ability to view 200
different types of document formats, including PDF, MS Office, CAD
2D/3D, postscript, vector and raster images. "There is no need for third
