Guidance For Brother HL 5370DW
The Brother HL 5370DW printer uses the “Electrographic print technology.” This printer
also supports the Auto Duplex Printing feature. To know how to perform the initial

Unpack the Brother printer:

Drum Unit and Toner Cartridge Assembly
AC Power Cord
Clear all the packing materials from the outside and inside of the printer.
Drum unit and toner cartridge assembly
Lower the printer’s front cover.
Unpack the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly.
Shake it well to spread the toner evenly inside the assembly.
Place the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly into its slot in the printer and
then close the front cover.
Draw the paper tray completely out of the printer.
Press the blue paper-guide release lever to move the paper guides.
Place a stack of paper in the paper tray. Fan it well before loading to avoid the
paper jam/feed problem.
Note: Do not exceed the maximum paper mark. The printed side of the paper
needs to be facing down in the paper tray.
Adjust the paper guides according to the paper dimension.
Place the paper tray back into the Brother HL 5370DW Setup printer.
Test page printing:
Connect the AC power cord to the printer and a wall outlet.
Turn on the printer’s Power switch.
Unfold printer’s support flap.
Wait until the Status LED turns green.
Press the Go button on the control panel to print a test page.
