ACG Florida Announces Registration and
Keynoter for 2010 Florida Capital Connection

TAMPA, Fla.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Registration is now open for the ACG2010 Florida Capital
Connection, “The Sport of Business,” to be held Nov. 16 and 17, 2010 at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf
Club in St. Petersburg, Fla.
“We expect to attract 750 financial intermediaries, investment bankers, private equity professionals, corporate
executives and professional advisors, making this the largest Florida Capital Connection to date,” says Penny
Hulbert, principal of Links Financial, LLC and 2010 Florida Capital Connection chairman. “Our theme, ‘The
Sport of Business,’ will provide additional interest as we explore such issues as sport franchise valuation and
financing, in addition to more traditional Capital Connection topics.”
2010 Florida Capital Connection keynote luncheon speaker on Wednesday, Nov. 17 is Art Laffer, founder and
chairman of Laffer Associates, an institutional economic research and consulting firm as well as Laffer Investments,
an institutional management firm utilizing diverse investment strategies. Laffer’s influence in triggering a worldwide tax
cutting movement in the 1980s earned him the title in many publications of “The Father of Supply-Side Economics.”
The 2010 Florida Capital Connection will feature a “double deal” series that includes an invitation-only Deal
Showcase for private equity firms where investment bankers and intermediaries will exhibit; and a Private Equity
Marketplace, where private equity firms are the exhibitors and gain private access to top private equity groups.
Additional 2010 Florida Capital Connection events include an Invitation Only VIP Party at the Dali Museum on
Tuesday, Nov. 16 for exhibitors and sponsors; a Scramble Golf Tournament on Nov. 16 and a Texas Hold-Em
