American Indian Heritage Month
A proud and strong nation, the Choctaw people have always been thankful for the wonderful bounty “Mother Earth” has provided through the centuries such as the gifts of
wood, water, fresh game, and food crops. We believe the earth was left in our hands to care for and protect so our children; their children, and generations to come will enjoy the
same bounty. Our ancestors only used what they needed from the earth and would not waste our natural resources. The Choctaw Nation promotes keeping our heritage alive.
