(École Supérieure des Sciences
Économiques et Commerciales) is one of the
most
prestigious business
schools
and
Grandes écoles in France. ESSEC was cre-
ated by Jesuits in 1907 in Paris, next to
University of Paris II: Panthéon-Assas, rue
d’Assas. Its campus was relocated to Cergy-
Pontoise, 30 km west of Paris (Val d’Oise), in
1973.

ESSEC MBA
The ESSEC MBA is an innovative model
among MBA formats, as it is aimed at stu-
dents with no professional experience, in-
stead of managers with 4-8 years of
experience like most programs. The MBA dip-
loma is only delivered upon completion of a
required amount of
internships to com-
pensate for the lack of work experience.
