Ba Be National Park is roughly 5 and a half hour drive from Hanoi, with average traffic. It is located relatively high up the
mountains. Ba Be is a quiet part of Vietnam which has not much technology and most jobs around Ba Be include interacting
with the nature like planting rice fields (are the main jobs).
Ba Be lake is the largest natural fresh water lake in Vietnam, stretching to about 8km. The deepness of Ba Be lake goes from
roughly 17 meters to 23 meters, the deepest point of the lake is 35 meters. The name Ba Be means ―three lakes‖, which is speak-
ing of the three parts of the lake, Pe Leng, Pe Lu, and Pe Lam. They all connect to the same body of water though.
