ABOUT US
Better Than New was formed in 1998 by Dan Oldejans in a
small apartment in Scottsdale, AZ. It began with a few
hundred dollars, a briefcase, and a couple of hand" tools.
Since then, Better Than New has grown into a full service
refinish and custom furniture repair shop in Arizona.
Owner Dan Oldejans received a BA in Studio Art from
Arizona State University. With an education in the fine arts,
we have set ourselves apart from others using innovative
techniques outside of the typical restoration industry. Our
motto "is get it done and do it right" and "the devil is in the
details". We truly love people and the process of working
together with the customer as a team to achieve the best
possible results. Never finish learning, we believe that the
journey is as important as the finished product.
