Weight Per Gallon
DA100 - PLASTIC ROOF CEMENT is a high-grade mastic compound of asphalt and mineral fillers. This material is blended in
proportions to assure maximum resistance to weathering while providing ease of application by trowel. DA100 - PLASTIC ROOF
CEMENT is a soft, pliable material that gradually hardens to a durable and water resistant seal. It sets firmly after application, yet
retains its pliability over a period of years.
DA100 - PLASTIC ROOF CEMENT is designed for repairing leaks in asphalt, metal, and composition roof surfaces. This
material is used for waterproofing and on flashing where a heavy-duty product is required, and as an emergency patching
compound that provides good water resistance. DA100 - PLASTIC ROOF CEMENT is also useful for repairing leaks in shingles,
concrete, gutters, around chimneys and eaves. When reinforced with patching fabric or a suitable asphalt roofing membrane, this
product provides a permanent patch of unusual strength over most surfaces.
Approximately 12 1/2 sq. ft. per gallon applied 1/8" thick
Apply to a dry surface. The roof surface must be clean and free from oil, grease, rust, loose paint and dirt and other foreign
matter that would interfere with a good bond. Cut away old roof cement if it prevents a smooth patch.
DA100 - PLASTIC ROOF CEMENT is ready to use. With a trowel or putty knife, work it into the hole 1/8" to 1/4" thick. For best
results, apply as follows:
Small Holes: For holes under 1", place material over and around hole from 3/8" to 1/2" thick. Spread down to a feather edge.
Large Holes: To repair holes and cracks more than 1" cross, apply cement liberally to a thickness 1/4" to 3/8" above the surface,
working into all parts of the defect and 2" to either side; thoroughly embed fiber
