Our first-in-class2 innovation creates a 2015 F-150 that
weighs up to 700 lbs. less than its predecessor. One that
accelerates faster. Stops sooner. Tows more.3 Hauls
more.3 And does it all more efficiently. We collaborated
with experts to formulate this new metal.
Then, through heat treating and by increasing panel
thickness, we made it even stronger. Making it ideally
suited for the rigors of truck use. How so? It does
not rust. It resists corrosion. And it improves dent-/
ding-resistance. When you set out to build the best
truck ever, itâ€™s no surprise what you end up with.
