The market for Decentralized Energy (DE) and its associated products and services is growing rapidly, which
means the demand for these products and services is also on the rise. For nearly a decade, WADE Canada and its
predecessor, NewERA, has provided the energy industry with state of the nation reports on DE including policy
analyses and techno-economic modelling. Through multi-stakeholder projects and national events, we have also
fostered the growth of the industry by offering our members and partner organisations a variety of business
development opportunities. On a daily basis we are seeing increased demand for new business opportunities and
for access to other businesses supplying DE products and services. This is the first Canadian Business Directory
dedicated to DE products and services.
The inaugural edition of this Directory has started with a focus on small to medium sized businesses in western
Canada. Organizations which did not fall into this this criteria are featured in the Clean Energy Partners section
that starts on page 24. We will be enlarging the scope of this Directory for 2009.
THIS DIRECTORY IS ALSO AVAILABLE AS A SEARCHABLE ON-LINE SERVICE. The on-line Directory is constantly
being updated.
