Argos S Y S T E M
Several thousand Argos transmitters have
already accompanied skippers, rowers, windsurfers,
and swimmers who have boldly crossed
the world’s oceans.
On land, hundreds of adventurers on foot, bicycle,
skis or even on sleds have crossed the harshest
climates carrying an Argos transmitter.
Argos is a worldwide satellite-based location
and data collection system.
Transmitters: CLS delivers and installs
your transmitter, and a technician shows you
how operate it.
Mapping software: CLS supplies, installs,
and trains you to use special mapping software
that communicates with our Argos processing center
so that you can display positions on screen.
Request for assistance messages monitored
