This manual explains how to create a certificate for using with VBattula Web21c Client to
make free calls and cheapest calls.
You have to install VBattula Web21c client before you create the certificate.
There are two types of certificates.
Sandbox equips you to make short duration calls for free. The current limit for call being 2
minutes. You can make 10 calls per day for every certificate you create. Currently there is
no limit on number of certificates you can create. This means, you can make unlimited
number of 2 minute calls. You just need to create as many certificates as you need. :)
To make longer calls upto 1 hour, you must create a Production certificate. Current tariffs
for calls can be found here. You need to buy credits after you create certificate. Then use
this production certificate with Web21c client to make longer calls.
Following are the steps to be followed to create the certificate.
Register (select Register link at top) if you are not already a registered member of
Choose a username/password and provide all the details required.
Now you are ready to Sign In.
Once you login, Click on the “My Apps” link. It will show all the applications you have
registered (in case any).
Now click on Register New Application link.
Next Click on Certificate Tool link to register new application.
It will ask you to launch a Java Application. “Allow” the BT certificates for it to run
Click Submit and it will carry out steps for creation of certificate.
It will then ask you to save the PFX file created for your application. Save it under security
folder of VBattula Web21c client. (Default at C:\Program Files\VBattula\VBattula Web21C
After you save it, you will be prompted to enter password for the certificate. You *must*
give password less than 7 characters.
Now we are ready to Go.
Configure this application with VBattula Web21c client to start using it.
