A DAY IN HISTORIC DIMMITT’S GROVE

Join Dimmitt’s Grove Neighborhood Association of Bloomington for our event to highlight our history
& showcase our restoration, preservation & beautification efforts. Dimmitt’s Grove boundaries are E.
Washington & Oakland & S. Gridley & Clinton Sts.
House & Garden Tours
Stroll through gardens of unique landscaping and structures. Wander through homes rich with
architecture, history and exciting interiors. A self-guided tour booklet will be provided. The 5 tour
sites are opened from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Tickets: $10.00.
Guided Historical Walking Tours
During your 45 minute tour, experience wonderful architectural and historical features of
homes and our neighborhood. Tour times: 10:00, 11:00, 11:30, 1:00, 1:30 & 2:00. Only 20 people per
tour. Tours start at Maria Litta Park (corner S. Gridley & E. Jackson Sts.) Tickets: $5.00
Luncheon in the Garden
For a unique experience, relax in a lovely shaded garden on Grove St. and enjoy a delicious lunch
served by Pumpernickel’s Deli & Eatery. Enjoy Victorian & Contemporary Poems read by local poets.
You may be sharing a table with other guests. Seating times: 11:00, 12:30, & 2:00. Each seating is
limited to 44 people. Tickets: $8.00.
