(Vocus) May 4, 2010 -- Today’s Caregiver, the first national magazine for all family and professional caregivers,
and caregiver.com announce the 2010 Caregiver Friendly® Award recipients. The Caregiver Friendly® Awards
are designed to celebrate products, services, books and media created with the needs of caregivers in mind.
eCareDiary.com, a new website for families coordinating long term care, is named a 2010 Caregiver Friendly
Award recipient. The site brings together free tools and resources to help simplify the enormous task of
caregiving. A main feature is the medication and appointment management tool enabling families to store and
share their loved one’s information in a secure, private place.
“The average caregiver is responsible for over $40,000 in health related expenditures each year, in either personal
or directed funds” Says Gary Barg, Today’s Caregiver magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, “This award is designed to
help family caregivers recognize and reward those organizations who will care for them in as committed a manner
as they care for their loved ones.”
John Mills, eCare Diary Founder and CEO, said, “eCareDiary.com helps simplify life for caregivers by providing
tools to help them self-manage care. We are very honored to have won the Caregiver Friendly Award and be
recognized for the assistance we provide to caregivers.”
