eBay Seller? Don't Spoil It For Yourself As part of increasing your eBay knowledge and becoming a
successful seller, it is often beneficial to understand the bidding philosophy from the point of view of the
buyer. Even on an auction website, perception is everything and if the prospective bidder does not feel
comfortable they will then have a reason not to bid on your item. Unfortunately, a major reason for
sellers not succeeding is a lack of effort leading to others to profit from your mistakes.
Don't leave yourself open to a tactic used by clever buyers that can be defended against quite easily.
The general advice to any seller is to have items that have good pictures, clear descriptions and a user
friendly experience to ensure the buyer is given maximum confidence to buy from you. A great service
will boost your feedback rating and therefore other bidders will be more likely to bid on one of your
future items.
But what if you are lazy and offer an item for sale that has no picture, one line of description together
with a very low feedback score or none at all? Ask yourself who would bid on an auction item that has
