REDWOOD CITY, Calif. & IRVING, Texas--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Pricelock, Inc., the leading
company that provides innovative fuel price protection solutions, has been working closely with Aegis Limited, a
leading global business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, to roll out the Pricelock employee commuter benefit
program in multiple Aegis locations.
Named “Miles of Smiles,” the program allows Aegis to provide an ongoing fuel discount—60 cents per gallon and
cap of $2.99 per gallon using an Aegis branded fuel card—that can be increased with tenure or performance of its
call center agents. The program helps agents reduce their commuting costs, and has provided Aegis with a
compelling return on investment by significantly reducing agent attrition and strengthening its ability to recruit leading
candidates from a broader geographic area.
The employee commuter benefit was initially launched November 2008 in two of Aegis’ West Virginia locations.
The program has proven to be so successful that Aegis expanded the program to three additional call center
locations with the latest in Port St. Lucie, Florida on May 1st. The “Miles of Smiles” roll out in the Port St. Lucie
location—which was covered by the local radio and Chamber of Commerce—generated a great deal of excitement
from almost 300 employees who are now enrolled in the program. Currently, over 1,200 Aegis employees are
benefitting from the “Miles of Smiles” program.
“We are honored that the Pricelock employee commuter benefit has become an integral part of Aegis’ overall
employee benefits program,” said Pricelock Chief Operating Officer Naveen Agarwal. “With Aegis’ continued roll
out of the ‘Miles of Smiles’ program, the employee commuter benefit has proven its ability to help Aegis effectively
recruit, retain and reward their employees while demonstrating Aegis’ commitment to their employees’ fin
