Power problems can be disastrous in advance technology, especially in the manufacturing, IT, hospital and others critical
environment. The speaker will describe the nine different power problems that could potentially affect critical systems and how
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) can augment and supersede power-protection strategies offered by generators and surge
suppressors while presenting a compelling business case in any commercial environment.
As the importance of power protection continues to grow across South East Asia, the focus of the seminar will be on
Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPSs) as power protection solutions, the three basic types of UPSs available, and the benefits of
modern UPS features and architecture.

Mr. Bernard Lee started his UPS career with ABB Industry Pte Ltd in 1990. He has vast knowledge and experience from
