on mobile handsets.
70,400
Airscape Technology Pty Limited has developed technology enabling
existing standard mobile phones to provide a user experience very
similar to that provided by applications running on the Apple iPhone and
other smartphones.
It is a rich-client technology, exploiting the Java Virtual Machine and
requiring minimal code to be downloaded to the device, minimal
bandwidth utilisation, minimal battery usage and minimal computing
power by the handset. Unlike other rich-clients, such as Flash, which
are designed for graphics rendering and games, Airscape is designed to
present secure, enterprise-grade applications.
COMET funding will be used for Strategic Business Planning, Market
Research, Intellectual Property Strategy, Working Prototype and Proven
Technology activities.
