BOULDER, Colo.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Confio Software, the leading developer of response-time
based database performance tools, today announced that bookings growth for the 2009 calendar year increased by
43% over the prior year, which yielded the largest total revenue increase in Confio’s history. The results reflect the
market success of the new Confio Ignite PI architecture released in early 2009, and the rapid escalation of products

revenue than ever before. Confio Ignite improves performance of databases and the applications that depend on
them, and helps companies reduce the cost of operating their database infrastructure.
“The demand for new Confio Ignite products by both new customers and existing sites drove sales to a record level
throughout the year,” said Matt Larson, CEO and Founder of Confio, “Our products hit the spot with customers
who needed an innovative approach to improving service delivery while keeping costs in check.”
In early 2009 Confio began shipping its new Ignite PI products, built on a Web-based, open architecture. The
results throughout the year reflected the enthusiasm around the new Ignite PI products and the improvements in how
they delivered value to customers. Especially significant was the growth of Ignite for SQL Server, constituting the
fastest growing product in Confio’s history
Confio Ignite monitors, finds problems, and improves service levels in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and
