Biscom's Fax Server and Hosted Fax Services Solves High-Volume Fax Problem
Biscom's integrated fax solutions alleviate reliability and bottleneck issues for U.S. enterprise
dependent on high-volume faxing.
Chelmsford, MA (PRWEB) September 12, 2009 -- Biscom today announced the successful implementation of a
customized fax solution for Acclaris, a leading software-enabled service provider for employee benefits
reimbursement. Biscom's hosted fax service and fax servers streamlined Acclaris's high-volume document flow,
ensuring accuracy, reliability, and ultimately generating greater customer satisfaction.
Acclaris enables customer employees to submit and get approval for reimbursement requests regarding various
benefit plans. Expense receipts are faxed mostly by North America end users and processed overnight. Acclaris
receives in excess of 5,000 fax pages per day.
In response to software, hardware, and bottleneck issues, Acclaris required a smart upgrade option to deliver
non-stop business faxing and provide a high level of security to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
At first, Acclaris implemented and tested the hosted fax service on a small scale. Then, it rolled out the service to
additional users and finally established premises-based fax servers as required.
Ultimately, Acclaris implemented Biscom's completely integrated solution, which, on top of the service, included
fax servers, fax cards, and software. "Only Biscom provides direct support for both premises-based and hosted
faxing from the same vendor - a unique offering in the fax marketplace." - Peter Davidson, Industry Analyst.
"A big driver for us is reliability," said Subhadip Chatterjee, Acclaris's VP of Information Technology. "End

With reliability a prime concern, the company supplemented the onsite Fax Server with Biscom's Fax Services,
ensuring that users can always send
