Introduction
This booklet is intended to help High Wycombe-based students choose their accommodation at
Buckinghamshire New University.
It contains brief but important details; you should read it carefully before making a decision. If there is
anything in this guide that requires further clarification please contact the Accommodation Service on
01494 603 063; we will be happy to assist.
The Accommodation Service
The Accommodation Service aims to support students in finding somewhere to live in University-managed
accommodation or in the private sector. The Accommodation Service is located on the High Wycombe
Campus. We are open weekdays throughout the year to personal callers, from 9am – 5pm Monday to
Thursday, and 4.30pm on Fridays. We check email messages daily, and this can be an easier way to
contact us, our email address is accom@bucks.ac.uk.
We are always happy to hear from students and we would prefer to speak to you directly and not a
representative. Please bear in mind the Accommodation Service is very busy in the period after A-level
results and during clearing, so please try not to telephone at this time, unless it is urgent.
We welcome feedback on our services. If you have a complaint or need to appeal a decision, please put it
in writing to the University Accommodation Manager, at the High Wycombe address on the back cover.

accommodation types are described in the following paragraphs.
