STONECIPHER: THE ETHICS BOARD SHOULD RESIGN ... IMMEDIATELY ... FOR THE
GOOD OF THE PEOPLE OF LOUISIANA
Elliott Stonecipher
Ladies & Gentlemen,
Please read today's story from Marsha Shuler -

Also, I appreciate the post from C. B. Forgotston (forgotston.com) on
this subject. Given how well C. B. keeps up with what's happening in
Louisiana, he has followed as well as anyone the not-funny-joke that is
Louisiana's absence of ethics enforcement.
In the context of these most recent developments, I trust that everyone is
beginning to see more and more clearly what some (few) of us have been
trying to say since this eradication of real ethics enforcement was fashioned
and executed by key legislators and key members of the governor's team,
beginning in late 2007. (I then, and still, call their work a "political

We are not only a national laughingstock in this context, we are -
recognizably - a national laughingstock that lied ... about "ethics reform."
There won't be many ways that we can look worse: under the loudly and proudly
ballyhooed claim of "ethics reform," our political "leadership" quietly

me correct that: charges may be filed against them, but they don't have
to worry that so-called "ethics adjudicators" will find them guilty of their
stunning ethicslessness.
I trust that readers really understand: every miserable thing that is
happening was certain - 100% - when the "ethics reform" bill has written and
passed - by these same misfeasors - in early 2008. There have been zero
surprises - not one single one. Every bit of this was predicted. Every
