General Description
An assortment of front surface reflective coatings for glass
and metal substrates is available. These designs are suitable
for optical blanks, prisms, metal reflectors and polygons.
ECI #800 is an Overcoated Aluminum design suitable for
a wide variety of applications. This design has a broad
reflection band from the visible to the far infrared.
This coating is in conformance with MIL-M-13508.
ECI #801 is an Overcoated Aluminum coating that is
specifically designed for use in the Ultraviolet and Visible
wavelength region. #801 has excellent performance from
200 nanometers to the infrared.
ECI #802 is an Enhanced Aluminum coating that reflects
up to 95% in the visible spectrum. This design can be
optimized for a particular wavelength region and angle
of incidence.
ECI #804 is an Overcoated Silver design that passes the
environmental requirements of MIL-M-13508C. This design
is commonly used for demanding broad-band reflectance
applications including instrument mirrors, metal mirrors for
military applications and satellite components.
#806 is an Enhanced Gold mirror design that is well
suited for near infrared and infrared applications. This
coating meets or exceeds the environmental requirements
of MIL-M-13508 on glass and metal substrates. This design is
used in many laser diode applications including scanning,
sensing, and fiberoptic devices. It is also commonly used
on satellite parts, military optics, and fiberoptic components
that demand superior environmental performance.
