Cinq for iPad
Welcome to the Tunaverse Cinq for iPad tutorial. In this tutorial, we will highlight
the various features of this powerful photo viewing application, and show you how
to make the most of your photos, anywhere.
This is your finger press guide.
Once you have completed your
initial setup {see installation
tutorial}, Cinq will show you your
server list, including your Facebook
account in the Web Media section.
Every computer that you
have installed the Cinq
Server application to and
connected to your account
will show up in this server
list. You can access each
computer’s photo library
with a touch.
As servers come online, the
screens on this page
become blue.
Inside the computer library, you see a folder list, which is organized by albums and
events if you are using an iPhoto library, and organized by name if you are not.
Photo albums from iPhoto will use the key photo from each folder to create a
beautiful image-based layout to scroll through.
You can use your finger to scroll through the folders, and once you have found a
folder you would like to explore, you simply touch it.
Choose a photo to open, and press on it.
The photo will open into a high-resolution view that you can zoom into and scroll
around using pinch and scroll techniques. You can even double tap to zoom
quickly in to the full resolution image.
You can simply view the image, or by pressing the arrow in the corner, you bring
up a menu with the option of emailing the photo, sending it to Facebook or
sending it to TwitPic connected to your Twitter account.
If you choose to email the image, it will draw the image directly into the mail app,
and compose a message with the subject already prepared, “Photo sent via Cinq.”
You may add any addresses you would like to your email, edit the subject line or
email text and then send your picture off.
Once you are finished your e-mail, you return directly to your image, continuing
your workflow.
