Compass Brokers Tara Donaca and Adam Hooper Awarded CCI
Brokers Sucessfully Complete Five Part Grad Level Curriculum
10.20.2009 – (Bend) — Compass Commercial proudly announces that two of its
brokers, Adam Hooper and Tara Donaca, have been awarded the Certified
Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute, one of
the leading commercial real estate associations in the world. This brings the total
count of Compass brokers with CCIM designations to eight, the largest number of
awardees per commercial real estate firm in Alaska, Idaho, SW Washington,
Montana and Oregon.
Adam Hooper said, "The CCIM series is by far the most comprehensive commercial
real estate eduction available. For me, this is the culmination of over 5 years of
learning about the industry and assembling a portfolio of transactions which
qualified and informed my experience. That completed, I was ready for the exam
process. The knowledge gained in these years of study allow me to best serve my
clients."
Tara Donaca added “I am proud to have earned the CCIM designation and to be
included in this level of elite commercial brokers.”
The designation was awarded in October following examinations held in Hawaii.
They were among the 120 commercial real estate professionals from across the
nation who earned the designation by passing the Institute’s Comprehensive
Examination, the final component in the designation process.

The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon
successful completion of a graduate-level education curriculum and presentation of
a portfolio of qualifying industry experience. The curriculum addresses: financial
analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis – the
cornerstones of commercial investment real estate. CCIMs are recognized experts
in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and
