ICF mentor coaching and ICF CCE units coaching 
by experienced MCC coaches 
 
International Coaching Federation (ICF) mentor coaching is available for mentee 
coaches to enable them to receive both mentoring and coaching utilizing ICF 
competencies. It essentially means being mentored on your coaching skills. ICF mentor 
coaching allows for reflection and practice, with feedback from the mentor coach. ICF 
mentor coaching is a mandatory requirement for obtaining ICF credentials, including 
Associated Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and MCC 
(Master Certified Coach). In order to obtain or renew your ACC, PCC, or MCC 
credential from the ICF, you need to take a minimum of 10 hours of ICF mentor 
coaching from an ICF-credentialed coach of the same or higher credential level.   
 
Powerhouse Coaching provides 10 hour ICF mentor coaching in an experiential and 
approved format through its ICF credentialed mentors, including the school’s founder 
Jennifer Powers. Jennifer Powers has logged more than 3,000 hours of coaching and 
has mentored more than 2,000 coaches. She is also an international keynote speaker, 
and the best-selling author of the books, Oh, shift!  As one of the top MCCs in the 
industry, Jennifer works with a goal to help coaches be their best as an ACC, PCC, or 
MCC.     
 
10-hour ICF mentor coaching    
 
10-hour ICF mentor coaching is provided for ACC, PCC, and MCC by Powerhouse 
Coaching, with an aim to boost the confidence of mentee coaches, replace bad habits 
with best practices, and navigate the credentialing process smoothly. The 10-hour ICF 
mentor coaching is divided in 7 hours of group coaching, and 3 hours one-on-one 
coaching, which is completed in three months. The coaching is designed to satisfy the 
ICF credentialing requirement for mentor coaching. 7 hours of group mentor coaching is 
provided in 5 sessions of 90 minutes each, which includes discussion on ethics and 
guidelines, live mentor coaching, round robins, facilitated discussions, and questions 
and answers. The group can have a maximum of 10 coaches. The two 90 minutes of 
one-on-one sessions may be used to review a recorded coaching call, practice your 
coaching, and any other support you need in skill-building.    
 
32-hour ICF CCE units program   
 
32-hour ICF CCE units program is provided by Powerhouse Coaching to ACCs and PCCs to 
develop expert-level coaching skills while earning their ICF CCEs. The ICF CCE units program 
provides coaches with ICF CCEs that they can use to earn or renew their ACC and PCC 
credential. The 32-hour ICF CCE units program consists of 18 synchronous hours which are 
delivered virtually via Zoom, and 14 hours asynchronous hours that include a combination of 
coaching, self-assessments, and journaling. Sessions are held at the same time every week for
