window glass and is usually fitted within the
window frame. Curtains are usually hung from a 
curtain pole or track above the window frame 
and when closed, cover the window and window 
frame.

It was difficult to find disadvantages of 
intalling blinds as we truely believe there 
are no disadvantages, but we managed to 
think of a couple areas where a high- 
quality set of curtains may have slight 
benefits over window blinds.
Fitting a blind to a window will keep heat in your room and help with 
energy bills, however, a thick pair of heavy curtains will do a better job at 
insulating your room.

For many people, the best option is going to be 
fitting both blinds and curtains. This means you 
get all the benefits eg a fantastic looking window, 
with light shading during the day and great 
thermal benefits in the evening.
