CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
When the ignition switch is turned to the ON position, battery voltage is applied to terminal IG of the body
ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Check voltage between terminals 1I–2/1L–20 and 1J–8 of body ECU connector.
PREPARATION:
Turn the ignition switch ON.
CHECK:
Measure the voltage between terminals 1I–2/1L–20 and 1J–8 of the body ECU connector.
OK:
Voltage: 9 – 14 V
OK
Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in
problem symptoms table (See page DI–773).

Check ECU–IG and ACC fuses.
PREPARATION:
Remove the ECU–IG and ACC fuses from the J/B No. 1.
CHECK:
Check the continuity of the ECU–IG and ACC fuses.
OK:
Continuity

Replace faulty fuse.
