NOTICE
To All Designated Inspection Facilities and Authorized Inspectors for Light Vehicles
Re: Inspection of Imported Vehicles
This notice applies to ALL Import Vehicles which are required to be inspected under Motor Vehicle Act

provincial safety standards, substantial modifications may be required to pass the provincial inspection process.
Some Imported Vehicles, which do not comply with the safety requirements contained in the Vehicle
Inspection Manual, have been issued certificates of approval. This action by Authorized Inspectors and
Designated Inspection Facility owners does not meet the safety and legal obligations.
