What Makes Creek View Elementary Unique?
Creek View Elementary School is an incredible place to be each and every day. Located
in Alpharetta, Georgia, our students and staff are remarkable and unique in so many
ways. Our school is a special place for children to learn because of the unwavering
commitment of excellence from our students, parents, faculty, staff, and community.
Technology opportunities abound at Creek View Elementary School. We were the first
and only Fulton County Elementary School to apply for and awarded a 21st Century
Technology Grant from the Georgia Department of Education. This allowed the initial
installation of seven Promethean Interactive white boards, Neos and Alphasmarts, and
has led to the additional purchase of eight boards through PTA funds. Creek View
teachers have taken the opportunity to learn how to create Podcasts and Videocasts,
which are available for viewing on our school website. The Creek View website is
extremely informative, creative, and is constantly updated with the latest pictures, videos
and information regarding student and parent activities and events.
We are very proud of our diversity which consists of 17% Asian American, 14% African
American, 7% Hispanic, 4% Multi-racial, and 58% Caucasian. Creek View has
maintained high standardized test scores, even with a significant mobility rate which
increases each year.
Creek View Elementary School has a very active Performing Arts Department that
includes a full length motion picture production which is directed and filmed by students.
There is a Premiere night which includes limo arrivals and a red carpet walk. Several
groups of students with faculty sponsors write scripts and produce two minute films for
the Kennesaw University Movie Makers Competition. Several first, second, and third
place trophies are awarded to the Creek View productions each year. We have a third
