The Extraordinary Coach
Developing Coaching Skills for All Leaders
KEY LEARNINGS
This workshop teaches critical coaching skills to
anyone who is a leader. It is a skill building program
designed to help leaders coach subordinates, their
peers and even their bosses. It generates a mindset
regarding the need for effectively developing oth-
ers. Workshop participants will:
• Understand the measurable impact that develop-
ing others has on organizational performance.
• Discover the elements of a good coaching rela-
tionship.
• Learn about the 11 coaching behaviors that sepa-
rate the highest performing coaches from the rest.
• Utilize the Extraordinary Coach multi-rater feedback
to identify their own coaching strengths and possible
neutralizers.
• Apply and practice the foundational coaching skills:
listening, questioning, and providing feedback.
• Learn and practice a process for holding an effective
coaching conversation.
• Create a personal development plan that focuses
on building coaching strengths.
