EFN324
Ethernet Access Node for Fiber and Cat5
EDA 1200
Introduction
EFN324 is an Ethernet point-to-point Access Node
offering downlink port interface technologies for fiber or
Cat5. EFN324 represents a family of multi-functional,
carrier class access nodes that support data, video and
voice services, including IPTV, multicast video
streaming with IGMP proxy and IGMP snooping.
Designed for Ericsson’s EDA 1200 broadband solution
for fast Ethernet access, EFN324 is ideal for termination
of residential end users, small offices/home offices, and
small to medium enterprises, offering a symmetrical
end-user bandwidth of 100 Mbps and the flexibility to
offer differentiated value-added services in the network.
EFN324 is a second-generation access product based
on the latest technology and standards, providing cost-
effectiveness and scalability.
