This Document will allow us to properly backup all your data and prepare you for what to expect from the Data Backup process.
We can only backup data that is identified to us as important. Please describe below, in as much detail as possible, the data you
wish to have backed up:

Please read the entire description of each item and place a check mark in each box to verify you are familiar with
• Usually a Data Backup is needed due to hardware or software failure or to be proactive and prevent data loss. Any
pre-existing issues may result in data corruption or loss, meaning some of the files may not work properly. In addition,
attempting Data Backups can damage the storage device further, thus preventing any further Data Backups attempts. The
Geek Squad, Inc. or Best Buy Co. is not responsible for further damage to the storage device while attempting recovery
through standard means.
Our work is based on a flat-rate price for this work. If we can Backup/Rescue/Migrate only a portion of this list, you will be
required to pay the full amount of the flat-rate quoted to you.
Data Backup is not guaranteed to get all of your data. The more specific you are, the better chance we have of getting every
piece of data that you are requesting. NOTE: SOME OF THE DATA BACKUPED MAY REQUIRE YOU TO PERFORM A MANUAL
IMPORT BACK INTO YOUR SOFTWARE. THIS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST. WE WILL BE HAPPY TO PERFORM THIS FOR
YOU FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
We strongly recommend that you keep your original storage device containing the original data for at least 90 days. Ad-
ditional charges will apply for any additional data requests.
